GEORGIA OVERTON HAS DONE IT AGAIN

Georgia has gone from strength to strength since that competition in April. She has been performing in Alnwick Gardens and a variety of other venues locally, singing songs such as ‘Bridge Over Troubled Waters’ and ‘Over the Rainbow’. The equipment is very expensive, and she is working very hard to pay for it herself with payments from her performances.
She attended open auditions for Stobart Factor at the Metrocentre where she was judged by none less than Shane Lynch from Boyzone! (pictured) The comments she received were fantastic and she made it through the rounds and secured a place in the semi-finals along with 3 others. There were 15 altogether from Newcastle, Blackpool, Manchester & Carlisle. She survived ‘boot camp’ at Eddie Stobart HQ, in Carlisle on 11th August, where she underwent training with a choreographer and vocal coach and has a place in the final 6 for the Stobart Factor. She will be performing on Sat 23rd August, along with Boyzone, McFly and The Hoosiers at Carlisle Live in front of 15,000 people where she will be judged by Louis Walsh (X – Factor) and Boyzone.

She has been amazing throughout and is so excited at this opportunity that she is practising non-stop.

The prize is £10,000 and an album recorded in London.

She is also currently recording an album which will be for sale in the near future.
